My name is Tyler. That girl in the pic is Angie. She's cool. We're friends.

I am currently a system designer for an engineering services company in the St. Louis area (GO CARDINALS!). I'm a small town guy living it up in the big city now. We purchased the house in January of 2012. It really was quite the shocker that we were able to land the house. After seeing over 70 (that's no typo) houses and losing a bidding war on one previous place (that had the 1.5 acres I REALLY wanted), our realtor insisted on showing us this house that was listed WAY over our limit. Yada, yada, yada, we ended up getting the place we thought we had no chance with.

Angie's a teacher at a local elementary school. We met back in college at the fraternity house I lived in. After being friends for a few years and randomly running into each other in Mexico, we took the dive and started dating.

I do most of the design and decoration around the house. Luckily, Angie is cool and lets me play around with things she sometimes questions. If I had to describe my style, it would be somewhere in the mid-century modern/minimal/kid in a grown-ups body area.

As of August 29, 2012, Angie and I became engaged.
